They will be with us in Tulsa from November 17-21.
Come worship on November 19 and hear a sermon given by one of our Malawi brothers!
Another John Knox outreach ministry opportunity:
The Tulsa Christian Ministers Alliance is having their annual Thanksgiving food giveaway. The event will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, at Booker T. Washington High School’s Historical Building, 1514 E. Zion St. Low-income families of students at 60 Tulsa Public Schools, eight Union Public Schools and other areas of the city will receive a number of items, including meats and canned goods.
What can you do to help? We need trucks or vehicles to pick up the food and transport it to BTW for distribution. If you can help on Monday Nov. 20 and Tuesday Nov. 21, Contact Ruth Anderson 918-743-4032 or email@example.com. (You can volunteer for as long as you like!)
John Knox has two Presbyterian Women circle's.
Faith Circle meets in the evenings for dinner and discussion at members' homes.
Currently, they are studying: "Who is Jesus, What a Difference a Lens Makes"
In November, Faith Circle will meet at Judy Henderson's home.

If you are interested in brainstorming ideas for ways to engage both adult and kids in considering their Christian faith, come join our Christian Education Ministry Team! Christian Education meets the fourth Monday of each month at 7:00.
John Knox Presbyterian and Happy Campers Academy are teaming up to provide helpful lessons for parents. These totally free classes include dinner and childcare, and each week will cover something different. From child development and behavior issues to childcare centers and teaching faith to kids. In the busyness of the Christmas season, it is sometimes easy to neglect important time in fellowship with your church family. Here is a wonderful opportunity to spend time together in a leisurely brunch before hearing the choir share their gifts in music. Please invite friends outside John Knox to come also; there is always plenty of food!

This year, there will also be an opportunity to pass out food baskets at Neighbors Along the Line from 2:00-4:00 pm.
