Music Ministry

There are several different ways to be involved in music ministries at John Knox.

House Band:

The House Band leads the music at the 11:00 a.m. service on the second and fourth Sundays of each month, using a wide array of modern worship and praise music. With a full band of drums, guitars, bass, and a great group of singers, House Band enhances our worship experience in a wonderful way. Under the leadership of Joesf Glaude, the House Band is always open to including new instruments and music. If you are interested in the House Band, please contact the Church office.

Sanctuary Choir:

Our Sanctuary Choir helps lead the congregation in worship every Sunday morning. Members of this choir meet on Wednesday nights from 7:30-8:30pm (taking off for the summer). Under the direction of Tracy Watson, the Sanctuary Choir is open to anyone with a passion for praising God through song.

From the Heart Singers:

The focus of From the Heart Singers is to enhance the Sunday morning worship experience by incorporating choral songs of a more contemporary nature. The ensenble rehearses from 9:00 to 9:40 am on Sundays in the choir room and participates in worship about once per month. From the Heart Singers is also under the direction of Tracy Watson, our Coordinator of Music Ministries.

Angelus Ringers:

Our hand bell choir is under the direction of our organist, Judith Popp, and rehearses on Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30 in the Sanctuary. The Angelus Ringers play monthly, elevating our worship experience with the wonderful ringing of bells!
