Giving At John Knox Church
As Christians, we are called to serve one another in love. There is great joy in giving to the church, knowing that your gifts support vital and meaningful ministries of education, worship, mission, and fellowship. Your gifts impact lives within and beyond the congregation of John Knox. Faithful giving not only strengthens the church and blesses others, it also makes a difference in our own hearts as well.
JKPC has a strong tradition of great generosity, sustained by ongoing contributions of time, talents, and treasure.
Thank you for sharing your gifts with John Knox Presbyterian Church.
Online Giving
Click here to provide an easy, safe, and secure gift to John Knox Presbyterian Church. Through our online EasyTithe system, one-time or recurring payments can be set up using your credit card, debit card, checking account, or savings account.
(Note: At the present time, online gifts may only be directed toward the “general church operations” fund. If you would like to donate to Memorials, Scholarships, or Foundation, please do so via the church offering plate or by mailing in a check. We expect to broaden the capability to allow giving to additional funds in the near future.)
You may also set up a gift directly through your bank’s “bill pay” system.
Annual Pledge, Cash, Checks
Although not required, making a pledge helps the church estimate annual income and set a Ministry and Mission Plan for the upcoming year. To obtain a Pledge Card, call the church office (918)-742-5528. Once completed, return it to John Knox Presbyterian Church, Attn: Finance Office, 2929 E. 31st Street, Tulsa, OK74105. Your pledge will remain confidential. You are also invited to mail cash or a check to the church office. When worshipping in person, the offering plate is an additional place to give.
Food Donations
The first Sunday of every month through our Extended Table program, we collect a different item for Neighbors Along the Line. You can drop a donation by the church office any time throughout the month and we will make sure it gets to people who need it. Check our Facebook page or the weekly bulletin to see what we are collecting each month.
One way to give is to volunteer your time in our community garden. More than 10% of our produce is donated to Neighbors Along the Line, and folks who work in the garden are invited to take produce home for themselves. Call the church office for more information (918-742-5528).
Ministry Teams
Donate your time to one of our John Knox Ministry Teams! Commit long-term to a certain Ministry Team (Worship, Outreach, Christian Education, Congregational Life, Safety & Security, etc.) or jump into a short-term project. We would love to hear your ideas about how else John Knox could be engaged in ministry. To express ideas or get involved, email Pastor Kate (teri@johnknoxchurch.org).
